The Next Generation Internet Protocol: IPv6

Synopsis    
Malaysia has ambitions to become an Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) enabled country by 2010, in time for the estimated expiry of Internet protocol version 4 (IPv4), which will see the exhaustion of IP addresses needed for future growth of Internet related appliances, applications and services.

In this technology update session we highlighted the basics and benefits of IPv6 along with the importance of its implementation here in Malaysia.
