What is Data?
Once you’ve got your data, what do you do with it? How do you manage it? What should you look for?
Understanding data is the very basic of things in knowing the importance of data in all the disciplines put together. We will try to inculcate in our mind and thoughts to the unlimited extents where data can carry us beyond our mental capabilities.
We will walk through history how data come to play an immeasurable role in helping us shape the way we work and make decision. As we evolve through time to our present dimension and beyond, data are ever present to provide us new ideas, new technologies to venture into unknown realm within our mental capabilities.
The talk will involve participation from the audiences as there will be few questions and few topics for open discussions.
Areas that we will venture together:
What do we understand by DATA?
Everyone that is involved in the world of data science seems to have different answer to the meaning of data.
What is the difference between DATA & INFO?
A common mix-up between the two but NOT a simple answer though.
Can INFO be without DATA?
How INFO evolve prior to DATA?
History of DATA building.
Bringing us back to the time of the cave man.
Review DATA types.
We will discuss on the data types from both
Sources of DATA
Where do we get our data initially?
